Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Groomber website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Groomber operates an on-demand, GPS-dispatched marketplace that connects pet owners with independent, vetted mobile pet groomers in South Florida and surrounding service areas. Groomber facilitates bookings and payments but does not itself provide grooming services.
3. User Accounts and Registration
To book a groom, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to register.
4. Booking and Payments
All bookings are made through the Service and are subject to groomer availability. Membership pricing is $15/month for unlimited bookings with zero convenience fees. Payment is processed automatically at the time of booking using the payment method on file. Service prices vary based on pet size, coat condition, and add-ons selected.
5. Cancellation Policy
Bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations within 2 hours of the appointment, or no-shows, may incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the booked service price. Groomber reserves the right to waive this fee at its discretion.
6. Groomer Independent Contractor Status
Groomers offering services through the Service are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of Groomber. Groomber does not direct or control the manner in which groomers perform their services. Any dispute regarding the quality of grooming services is between you and the independent groomer, though Groomber will assist in good-faith resolution.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Groomber and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to injury to pets, property damage, or service interruptions. Groomber's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Groomber and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
10. Changes to Terms
Groomber reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
